Exploring possible impact of AI on Biosecurity and International Cooperation in the BWC

This meeting is the second part of a simulation of a scientific advisory body within the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC), that the InterAcademy Partnership (IAP) is organizing in coordination with the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine.
It aims to test the concept of such a body that is currently under discussion among States Parties. More than 75 experts from 40 countries in all UN regional groups participated in the first, virtual meeting on 14 November 2023.
