M8 Alliance Expert Meeting - Webinar: The Impact of COVID-19 on Migrant and Refugee Health

The M8 Alliance of Academic Health Centres, Universities and National Academies has put Migrant and Refugee Health on the agenda of the World Health Summit since 2015. In 2017, the M8 Alliance held their first Expert Meeting on this issue in Rome, attended by participants from around the world. Since then annual follow-up meetings were established.

The webinar The Impact of COVID-19 on Migrant and Refugee Health, organised in cooperation with the Lancet Migration Commission, will take place on 28 January 2021 (15:00 –16:30 CET). Among the speakers there is Ozge Karadag Caman, a public health researcher selected in 2018 for the IAP Young Physician Leaders (YPL) programme, who will presnt on the topic ' Why social determinants of health matter more than ever in the pandemic?
