Biography

Dr. Hassoon is a faculty/scientist of epidemiology and neurology at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health (JHSPH) and Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He is investigating clinical diagnostic errors at a system level, and building artificial intelligent health solutions to improve access to care and diagnostic prediction for patients with risk of cancer and cardiovascular diseases. He holds an MD degree from Baghdad College of Medicine, MPH in epidemiology and statistics from JHSPH, pos-doctoral Fellowship from JHSPH, PMP Certificate from Project Management Institute, Hubert Humphrey Fellow ship from Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, and Atlas Fellowships from Atlas Service Corps. lives in Baltimore area. In his free time he is writing a novel. His special relaxing method is fishing in the Chesapeake Bay area.
