Biography

Nontuthuko Mvundla is a South African medical doctor. She works for WITS RHI, a research institute within the University of the Witwatersrand, as a clinician, researcher and progrmamme advisor for the past 2 years. She has an interest in HIV medicine within the maternal and child populations, and has worked on numerous projects within this group, some which include; leading the development and launch of an electronic booking information system used in a large public health setting that aims to resolve issues such as the loss to care of patients, as well as the launch of an intelli-space perinatal health system aimed at improving perinatal health outcomes.She is also a keen researcher,some of her research has been presented at the International AIDS conference in 2017. She graduated in 2010 with a medical degree from the University of Cape Town and is set to further persue her career with a Masters in Public health. In her free time, she likes discovering new places with her friends and also enjoys honing in on her inventive side by creating natural products for skin in her makeshift apothecary in her apartment in Johannesburg.One of her projects is currently being tested in the lab and is due to launch in 2018
