

NIMS University, India, in collaboration with the World Health Summit (WHS) Academic Alliance, announce the 'Award for Young Leaders in Global Health'. This award targets emerging talent in global health and offers an exceptional opportunity for young professionals to participate in the upcoming WHS Regional Meeting, scheduled to be held from 25-27 April 2025 in New Delhi, India. WHS Academic Alliance members are encouraged to nominate candidates affiliated with their institutions.
The World Health Summit Academic Alliance, an international network of academic institutions, including the InterAcademy Partnership (IAP), is committed to advancing global health and equity. As part of its ongoing efforts, five awardees will receive travel grants (economy class) and accommodation for three nights to attend the Regional WHS.
The summit, themed 'Scaling Access to Ensure Health Equity', will gather experts, policymakers and leaders to address critical health challenges and explore topics such as digital health, planetary health, health diplomacy and innovation.
