The Global Young Academy (GYA) and the InterAcademy Partnership (IAP) are thrilled to announce a Capacity Building Workshop on the theme of 'Trust in Science'. This workshop will be held in conjunction with the World Science Forum (WSF) 2024, taking place from 20-23 November 2024 in Budapest, Hungary. The call for applications is open to early career scientists who wish to attend the workshop. Deadline is 18 August 2024.

Participants of the workshop will not only engage in dynamic discussions and activities focused on building trust in science but will also have the opportunity to attend the prestigious World Science Forum. Are you within 10 years of completing your PhD and passionate about the future of science? This is a unique opportunity to enhance your skills, expand your network and contribute to critical discussions at the global level.

Eligibility & Application Process:

  • The call is open to early-career scientists (within 10 years of receiving their PhD).
  • Participants must be nominated by an IAP member academy.
  • Partial travel support (up to 70% of airfare) is available for participants from Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs).
