IAP at the UN meeting of the Secretary-General's Scientific Advisory Board

The IAP and several other institutions including the International Science Council, The World Academy of Sciences and the International Centre for Theoretical Physics, are part of the network of international institutions that inform the work of the UN Secretary General’s Scientific Advisory Board (SAB). The SAB and representatives of network organizations met on September 12 at the UN Headquarters in NY. A major topic of discussions between the SAB and the Secretary General of the UN was “trust in science.” The joint statement on the topic can be found here.
