Joint Symposium on Climate Change at COP24

The Polish Academy of Sciences is co-hosting a symposium at the forthcoming UN climate change discussions

The Polish Academy of Sciences, the French National Centre for Scientific Research and the Pontifical Academy of Sciences are co-hosting a symposium on climate change, which is scheduled to take place on 10 December 2018 during the 24th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP24) in Katowice, Poland.

During the symposium, titled 'Safeguarding Our Climate, Advancing Our Society', science academies, researchers and public intellectuals will liaise with leaders of the religious communities, theologians and moral philosophers.

Participation of scientists, science administrators, COP24 delegates, etc, is encouraged. Entrance is free of charge, but prior registration is obligatory.
