Report Launch: A Comparative Analysis of Themes Across S7/S20 and G7/G20 Statements

The InterAcademy Partnership (IAP) invites you to a special webinar to unveil its latest report: 'A Comparative Analysis of Themes Across S- and G-Statements'. S-Statements are collaborative documents developed by the national science academies of G7 and G20 nations to address pressing global challenges such as climate change, public health, technological innovation and economic growth. These statements provide science-based recommendations, acting as a vital bridge between the global scientific community and policymakers and advocating for international collaboration.

The IAP's new report systematically analyzes the thematic correlations between S-Statements and G-Statements (declarations and communiqués from G7 and G20 summits). It reveals a strong alignment between the priorities of science academies and the goals articulated by G7 and G20 leaders. The findings highlight the crucial role of science academies in:
