A new teaching guide - 'Doing Global Science: A Guide to Responsible Conduct in the Global Research Enterprise' - will be released by the InterAcademy Partnership on 11 February 2016.

The publication offers guidance on conducting research responsibly in a research environment that is increasingly international and multidisciplinary, and identifies responsible research practices that scientists around the world should embrace, as well as highlighting practices that should be avoided.

The production of the report was overseen by co-chairs Indira Nath (India) and Ernst-Ludwig Winnacker (Germany).

Indira Nath and Pieter Drenth (a member of the authoring committee) will present the report when they participate in a panel on 'Fostering Research Integrity' as part of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) annual meeting, Washington DC, on 14 February. A press release providing additional information is available HERE .
The electronic version of the guide is available for free download from the IAC website. Print copies are available for sale from Princeton University Press.
Financial support for the project was provided by the US Department of State, the US National Academy of Sciences, and IAP - the global network of science academies.
