YPL alumnus Paramdeep Singh Honoured with National Best Medical Teacher Award at NATCON 2024

Dr. Paramdeep Singh, Additional Professor at the Department of Radiology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bathinda, who is also an alumnus of the IAP Young Physician Leadership (YPL) programme, has received recognition for his work in the field of medical education in India. 

Singh, a distinguished educator and practitioner in the field of radiology, has been awarded the prestigious National Best Medical Teacher Award by the Indian Medical Association (IMA). The honour was conferred during the IMA’s annual national conference, NATCON 2024, held in Hyderabad in December 2024.

The Honorable National President of IMA conferred the award at a ceremony organised in Hyderabad, India, during the IMA National Conference (NATCON 2024). The award celebrates his commitment to nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals and advancing medical knowledge. Addressing the audience during the award ceremony, Singh expressed gratitude to his mentors, colleagues and students, dedicating the accolade to their collective pursuit of excellence in medicine. NATCON 2024 witnessed a gathering of eminent medical professionals from across the country, making it a fitting venue to recognise leaders shaping the future of healthcare.
