Biography

Aleksandar Stevanović works as a Medical Doctor and Teaching Assistant at the Institute of Social Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade. He is also a Ph.D. candidate in Public Health and completing his residency in Social Medicine. He is active and responsible for teaching, research and project activities within the Institute.

He lives and works in Belgrade, Serbia, but he is actively involved in several international associations. His research focuses on burden of disease methodology, infodemic management, health inequalities and social determinants of health.

He is a cheerful and curious person, always open to new collaborations and research topics. He believes in the power of health promotion and community engagement and leads a project called "Public Health Cinema" for several years.
