Andrew Gonzalez

Dr. Gonzalez is Assistant Profesor of Surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine and Associate Director for Data Science at the Regenstrief Institute’s Center for Health Services Research. He holds a Medical Doctorate, Juris Doctor, and Masters of Public Health in heath policy and administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and completed an NIH funded T-32 post doctoral fellowship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
His clinical focus is peripheral arterial disease, advanced open, endovascular, and hybrid aortic interventions, and vascular trauma. His research focus is on applications of AI/ML and network theory to chronic non-communicable disease care in complex adaptive systems.
He lives in Indianapolis Indiana his wife Dr. Sharmistha Dev and 3 year old daughter Ambika. In his free time Andrew enjoys traveling and hiking
