Antonethe Castaneda

Antonethe Castaneda is a social sciences scientist (Political Science, International Relations and Public Policy). She has worked in different spaces in decision-making with (public sector, private sector, public, scientific community, international institutions, universities and civil society in general), where she has stood out in interdisciplinary work, being a bridge for the different sectors with innovative ideas for Guatemala within the framework of international projection.
Professionally, she has experience with the governments of Guatemala and El Salvador, the Central American Integration System (SICA), the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and the Green Climate Fund (GCF). She recently joined the Inter-american Institute for Research on Global Change (IAI) as part of the Science, Technology, Policy (STeP) program.
