Arif Hidayat, PhD Ed., is founder and the Chairman of Indonesia Association of STEM Education, which is aimed to transforming STEM Education into into classroom practice for K-12 education in Indonesia.

Earned PhD in Science Education from Hiroshima University-Japan, He is President of Indonesia Association of Lesson Study (ALSI) and Indonesia Council Member of World Association of Lesson Study (WALS).

Dr Hidayat is also chairman of Centre for Excellence of Lesson and Learning Studies – Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), where he has been teaching at Department of Physics Education since 2009. Acting as School Director at a kindergarten-primary-secondary levels of NURA School, Dr Hidayat experienced more than 20 years on School Improvement and Teacher Professional Development
