· has been working since 2012 at the Philippine Department of Health, the national agency and steward of the Philippine health sector · holds a degree in Doctor of Medicine and Diploma in Epidemiology (Clinical Epidemiology) from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine, and is currently a masteral candidate (Master of Science in Public Health – Health Systems Management and Policy) in the Institute of Tropical Medicine Antwerp · lives in Laguna in the Philippines. Enjoys documentaries, stand-up comedy, and late night talk shows, trying different food, and spending quality time with her dog in her free time The past 3 years of her career has been dedicated to supporting health research specifically in research generation and utilization, and advocating health systems and policy research in the DOH. Her professional interests include health policy and financing, strategic planning, and decision-making in the context of health systems strengthening.
