Biography
Helen Eenmaa is the Vice President of the Estonian Young Academy of Sciences and the Founder of the Information Technology Law Research and Study Program at the University of Tartu in Estonia. She is a legal philosopher working on theories of private law and justice. Helen also leads the law and economics track in the European Joint Doctorate in Law and Development (EDOLAD), which works towards greater diversity in academic communities through doctoral and fieldwork training in the Global South. In this work, she has been particularly interested in data justice and the instrumental creation of regulatory frameworks.
