Dr. Janith Warnasekara has been the Head and Senior Lecturer in Department of Community Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka. His responsibilities include medical education and research with specialized expertise in Public Health, Biostatistics, and Research Methodology.

Dr. Janith Warnasekara holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, along with double Master's degrees in Public Health and Biostatistics. He has also earned a PhD in Infectious Disease Epidemiology, with a particular interest in leptospirosis.

Dr. Janith Warnasekara actively engages in social work and health education, participating in community outreach programs that promote public health and well-being. He also has a keen interest in media, utilizing various platforms to raise awareness about health issues.
