Shen Yang Lim
LIM Shen-Yang (Malaysia)
Dr. Lim Shen-Yang is a Consultant Neurologist and Professor of Medicine at the University of Malaya. He earned his medical and research doctorate degrees from the University of Melbourne, and was admitted to Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians after completing advanced training in adult Internal Medicine and Neurology at the Western and Royal Melbourne Hospitals. He underwent subspecialty training in Parkinson's disease (PD) and Movement Disorders at world-renowned centres in Melbourne and Toronto.
Dr. Lim has numerous publications in prestigious medical journals and books, on PD and a variety of other movement disorders. He is an Associate Editor of Neurology Asia, and a regular Reviewer for several prestigious journals of clinical neurology. He has received numerous invitations to lecture locally and abroad. He serves on Task Forces of the international Movement Disorder Society (MDS) and is an Executive Committee Member of the MDS Asian-Oceanian section. He is a Medical Advisor to the Malaysian PD Association, and a founding member of the Malaysian Movement Disorder Council.
