Linda Nordling

Linda Nordling is a freelance science journalist and editor. For the past 14 years she has written extensively about research policy and science funding with a specific focus on sub-Saharan Africa. Her clients include Nature, The Guardian and Times Higher Education. She is the founding editor of Research Africa, an online platform that helps African researchers access funding. Since 2008 she is the author of Africa Analysis, a monthly science-for-development column for the website SciDev.Net. She has led training programmes to improve communication between African scientists and journalists. Recently she has written extensively about the inequality in research partnerships between North and South. She lives in Cape Town, South Africa, with her husband, her cat and her horse.
