Marina Elichiry
Co-coordinator and member, Public Interdisciplinary Medical Cannabis Team
Marina Elichiry is a General and Family Doctor, holds a diploma on Palliative Care, and also in Communication, Gender and Sexuality. Marina is a teaching assistant in Palliative Care at Buenos Aires University Medicine School, and she holds a teaching position in the Cannabis and Health program and also in the Master's degree in Biochemistry at La Plata University, as well as other postgraduate courses. Marina is a member of the Scientific Committee of the indexed journal Cannabis y Salud.
She is Member and co-coordinator of the Public Interdisciplinary Medical Cannabis Team of San Vicente, and the Palliative Care Service at the Meléndez Hospital since 2022. Team member of the Palliative Care Service of Roffo Oncology Institute.
Marina is a member of Justicia Intersex, and member of the Intersex Human Rights Australia's Advisory Committee on Intersex Depathologization.
She has broad experience in the field of sexual and reproductive health, trans and intersex health, medical cannabis and palliative care.
Marina lives in La Plata (Argentina) where she enjoys spending free time playing basketball and soccer. She also loves to read and go to the theater. She advocates for LGTBI+ rights. Marina was born in Necochea, a city by the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, and she absolutely loves the sea.
