European Commission's Scientific Advice Mechanism (SAM) Conference 2025

The Scientific Advice Mechanism (SAM) Conference 2025 is taking place on 26-27 May at the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna, Austria. Titled “Building Bridges: Shaping Europe’s Science-for-Policy Landscape", the event is part of Europe’s foremost science advice conference series.

This conference will be of interest to science-for-policy practitioners and researchers, policymakers at all levels, and representatives of organisations that regularly interact with policy, especially academies.

EASAC, IAP's regional network for Europe, hosted at the Austrian Academy of Sciences, is a partner in Science Advice for Policy by European Academies (SAPEA), an integral part of the European Commission's SAM.
