

As Europe navigates geopolitical uncertainties, energy security remains a key issue. IAP’s European regional network, the European Academies Science Advisory Council (EASAC), will present its new report, 'Security of Sustainable Energy Supplies', on Tuesday, 8 April 2025, at the Palais des Académies in Brussels and online. The event will bring together scientists, policymakers, and industry representatives to discuss energy governance, infrastructure protection, international energy relations and citizen engagement.

The programme includes a sandwich lunch at 12:00 CEST, followed by opening remarks and a presentation of the report’s findings at 12:30 CEST. A panel discussion will take place at 13:00 CEST, followed by networking at 14:30 CEST, and the event will close at 15:00 CEST.

The event is open to policymakers, scientists, industry representatives and other stakeholders. Registration is required for both in-person and online participation.
