

The InterAcademy Partnership (IAP) is pleased to announce the launch of its Young Affiliates category, inviting young academies and cohort-based early career leadership programmes in science, medicine and engineering to join its global network. This initiative aims to strengthen the connection between emerging scientific leaders and the broader scientific community, fostering collaboration, capacity-building and impactful policy engagement.

The Young Affiliates category is designed to provide young academies and cohort-based early career leadership programmes of science, engineering and medicine with opportunities to:
Interested organisations must meet specific criteria, including alignment with IAP’s mission, merit-based selection of members and a commitment to active participation in IAP initiatives.
Applications are welcome on a rolling basis, but to be considered in the first review cycle, submissions should be received by 30 May 2025. The IAP Membership Committee will conduct its review in June 2025.
