Research interests: designed synthesis and functionalization of nanostructured materials and their applications in energy storage, adsorption, drug delivery, and catalyst, etc. Professor Lu actively participated in the 4th IAP Young Scientists Conference in Dalian, China, held in conjunction with the World Economic Forum's Annual Meeting of the New Champions, September 2011.
