Jamilla is a physician in Palliative and End of Life Care and a senior research fellow in the UK. Her research interests are in health inequalities at the end of life, especially related to ethnicity, gender and poverty.

She has the following qualifications MBChB (Hons), MRCP, BSc, MSc, PhD.

She lives in Yorkshire with her husband and 2 young sons. She enjoys poetry, walking and mostly spending quality time with loved ones.
